Hi, and welcome to week 22!

Sorry about lack of blog last week, I just didn’t have the spoons to do it.

I slept pretty well last night for me. I slept longer than Fiks which is unusual. I came out of the bedroom and heard him in the kitchen, and he was makin pancakes! I got one big one and one little one, and it was a perfect way to start the day. I flopped on the sofa for a while and watched Bones, getting up to call my parents, feed the fish, and then I went over and helped my Sister unload her car of its sewing machine and stuff. Well, Fiks actually carried the sewing machine up, I just did everything else.

I came back home and flopped onto the sofa and passed out for a few hours. I woke up and Fiks was on his computer, the TV was on screen saver mode, and I had a text from our DM about making my new character. I sent him a text with what I wanted to do, haven’t heard back yet. I put on Spiderman: Across The Spiderverse and just chilling right now.

Always enjoy that movie.

I really had a lazy day today, the only thing I really did was place an order for dinner at Olive Garden. We got out of our PJ’s and hopped into the truck and went down the mountain. We got our dinner then we swung by the station so Fiks could do his time cards that were due, and then we came back home. I put on Zootopia while we ate because I believe it was Fiks who placed one in our gaming discord last night. I ate dinner and after Zootopia I turned on The Simpsons and doom scrolled through Instagram for a while before going and jumping in the shower and crawling into bed.

I swear I woke up every hour or every half hour last night, I guess that’s what I get for sleeping so much yesterday. I gave up on trying to sleep around 8 and got up and moved to the sofa and dozed for a while there. Fiks came out and showed me a video of Jeff Goldblume singing with Sam Neil, so that was cool. Fiks and I got up and got dressed and moved the laundry on our way to the truck so we could swing by my parents house on our way to the grocery store.

We pulled up and came across a BIG f off turkey strutting across the driveway. Fiks followed him into Gucci’s stall and took pictures of him while I went inside and said hi to Mom and Poppa. Poppa was feeding Lumi some breakfast and Mom was eating hers and watching Hallmark already. We sat and talked for a while, Fiks came in after taking pictures of the turkey and he showed us what he had, so that was nice. Afterwards we went outside and hopped back into the truck and headed to the grocery store. The parking lot was full but the store didn’t seem to bad for me, yay! I forgot to grab the list off the fridge (again!) so we just kind of went off my memory.

After getting the groceries we went to Panda Express and got our lunch and then came home. Fiks put the garbage cans away while I unloaded the truck of the groceries. Then I put the truck away, and we came upstairs and I put away the cold/frozen stuff and we sat down and ate lunch. I was surprised to see Teriyaki chicken instead of orange chicken, which is probably better for my diet, so I ate that for lunch and then lied down on the sofa and watched Bones for a while.

After Bones (in which I dozed off in for a while), I turned on YouTube and snacked for a little bit. Then I was trying to find something to watch while Fiks joined his Monday night group. Ended up on Hot Fuzz. I talked with our DM and we agreed on a character race and class, so I’ve been working on that for part of the evening. I can’t decide if its to be male or female. When I wasn’t working on my character I was doom scrolling through Instagram and had The Simpsons on for most of the night for background noise.

I slept better last night, I think. I woke up to Fiks kissing me goodbye, and then I woke up realizing that I needed to move the truck. I begrudgingly got out of bed and went and moved the truck so he could leave for work, parked the truck, and went back to bed. I slept for a little while longer before moving to the sofa and watching TV there and dozing off.

When it was time I got up and I went to check out an idea for Fiks’ birthday. I got some good answers and had a good time. I came home, had a snack, and watched some TV for a little while before going and hopping in the shower. I’m working on this while watching Bones and working on my character.

I forgot to work on this this week after Tuesday and its now Sunday.

I had a mostly good week. Saturday at work was special.

L threw a fit after 20 minutes of clients being there, saying that it was ridiculous and stupid that I was up front and not in the back with her. A came up and asked me to come back because L was mad. I got back and she’s slamming stuff and just being a prissy little princess. She then left for her appointment, and it was me, and A in the back. I was able to do everything in the back, plus my up front duties like answering phones and making appointments. When L came back she asked how bad it was, I told her it was perfectly manageable. Then T was getting slammed up front in reception, so I helped out up there. L made a snarky comment when she left.

That’s about it. I’ll try to be better next week.
