I just wanted to say Happy December to everyone.

Happy December!

I went to work today and worked with a couple of horses. Marley was an jerk. There is no other way to put it. He just didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything, and then when I was lunging him he would just buck and be generally stupid. After Marley and removing the blankets from the other horses I worked with Dude. I was kind of scared working him with no one else there since he’s bucked and reared with me the past couple of times that I’ve worked with him. But today went fine, which was nice. He was a good quiet boy. Well, not quiet. He whinnied a couple of times. After Dude I worked with Butters, who was kind of quiet and lazy, but I made her trot and canter both ways, then we were done. I did buckets and then that was it for the day.

I came home and watched The Martian because it was already on TV and its a good book and a good movie. Then I worked on decorating the apartment. I got our little Christmas tree up and decorated. I decorated the door and I decorated the deck, so we are all set for Christmas! Just need some presents under the tree and then we’ll be all set.

I’ve been struggling with my depression lately, so I am going back to group tonight to see if it helps me get better. I just lay around on the couch and don’t do much unless I have to. I think its part depression part just burned out from working so much and having only 1 day off a week. I talked with Fiks and he said he’d support me if I needed to take an extra day off from one of my jobs if I need it. It was nice that he was supportive.

I think that’s it for the day.

At least I did a blog, its a step in the right direction.
