Forgive the lack of a blog yesterday, I was busy and super stressed out and not feeling up for doing one. Getting everything ready for Darkshore is this week and it’s hitting me and freaking me out a bit. 

So yesterday we picked up the trailer to haul the castle in. Woohoo. And we did some recycling of my parents stuff and got money from that. 

Today I went into work and started off by running around and giving the horses who need pills their pills. Then I worked Diamond. He was a fairly good boy, even with the lunge. He didn’t really need it. But he’s going to the horse show this weekend, so we didn’t want to take any chances. 

After Diamond I worked Marley. He was pretty lazy today, I think it was because of the heat. It was a warm day today. I hosed him off then I hosed off Coco for my boss. She had her out when I had out Marley. 

I then did Dude, not wanting to do him with a mare who’s coming out of heat around. That just spells bad. We weaves through some cones and went over some poles, walked, trotted and catered our way around the ring. 

I finished by lunging Tess, who was quiet and calm, wouldn’t respond to any of my usual tricks to make her go faster. 

After that I came to my parents place and hooked up the tuck to the trailer and off we went. There was a lot of traffic and it took us over 2 hours to get where the castle is stored. 

Took us a while to load up the castle, but that’s okay. It all wound up fitting in the end. 

Then we came home.
